What I learned in 16 weeks

For the last 16 weeks I have retrained my brain to think a little differently about technology. I really struggled with some of the applications and at times wondered what was the point.
In todays world it is important that I keep learning new and interesting ways to teach my students.
I created this presentation using an application that I really struggled with this semester. I can already see how I can use this in my future classroom and it's not that bad of an app.

Professional Learning Network - PLN

3 Ways I intend to Use a PLN

1. In an endeavor to be a lifelong learner I will utilize a PLN as a commitment to myself to continue to strive to always want and be willing to learn.

2. I will use a PLN as a collaboration tool. In a world where time is precious, the use of an online PLN will give me the ability to connect and collaborate with colleagues and experts without the pressures of a face-to-face meeting.

3. The online forum of PLN will allow me to lurk in issues to find the information I may be looking for. While I can use a PLN to lurk I will also use my PLN to share my ideas and strategies with my colleagues.
